Jerry Ragosa is owner of The Niles Company, Inc., and holds the title of President and Treasurer. Mr. Ragosa oversees the operations of all divisions of the firm. He is involved with the day-to-day operations of each Niles managed property to ensure the highest level of expertise and service is being delivered to every client.
Prior to joining Niles, Jerry was Trustee and Executive Vice President of Real Estate Investment Trust of America (REITA), the nation's first publicly traded equity real estate trust. He was responsible for a portfolio of investment property located throughout the United States. Prior to his tenure at REITA, Jerry was a partner at Minot, DeBlois & Maddison, Inc., one of the country's oldest property management and fiduciary trust companies, where he acted as property manager for the New England portfolio of commercial properties. Jerry has been an active participant in greater Boston real estate matters since 1972.
Upon joining The Niles Company in 1984, Mr. Ragosa was instrumental in expanding the firm's traditional residential management services to include brokerage services, financial reporting, project management, and association and developer consulting. Mr. Ragosa has directed the investment sales efforts for numerous properties and recently completed a consulting assignment as a Special Fiscal Agent for the United States District Court.
Jerry holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Boston College. Mr. Ragosa is a Certified Property Manager as well as a Massachusetts licensed real estate broker. As part of the 125th Anniversary of Banker and Tradesman, Mr. Ragosa received the All Star Award as one of Boston's top 125 real estate professionals.
