Jim Collins is Executive Vice President and Director of Property Management for The Niles Company, Inc. As director of Property Management, Mr. Collins oversees the operations of the management division and supervises a staff of seven property managers. In addition to his role as Director of Property Management, Jim manages a portfolio of residential units comprised of both condominiums and apartments.
Prior to joining Niles in 1983, Mr. Collins worked in various construction trades before being named Management Coordinator for The State Street Development Company of Boston.
He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Boston University. He is a Certified Property Manager. He is also a licensed Real Estate Broker and is licensed in Massachusetts as a Construction Supervisor. Jim has served as a Director of the Rental Housing Association and as Secretary of the Boston Chapter of IREM. Mr. Collins has chaired the AMO Committee for IREM and served as Chairman of its Membership Committee for four years.
